Manual Link Building Services: Every Type of Backlink, Built by Hand

A healthy link profile has variety. I build foundational, profile, blog submission, directory and bookmarking backlinks, and combine them with relevant editorial links, all created and checked manually.

Manual link building, explained

Manual link building means a person finds each website, decides whether it is worth a link and creates or requests that link. Nothing is posted by software, and nothing is sent to a network of throwaway sites.

Different link types do different jobs. Some give your site a natural, balanced foundation. Others bring relevance and trust. A good plan uses the right mix for your business and market.

Foundational link types

These build a natural-looking base and help search engines find and associate your business with trusted sources.

Foundational backlinks
Links from established platforms that most legitimate businesses have, such as business and brand profile pages. They give a new or thin link profile a natural starting point.
Profile backlinks
Complete, genuine profiles on reputable websites, with your brand details and website link. Quality and relevance of each platform matter more than quantity.
Blog submission backlinks
Short, original articles or posts submitted to blogs and content sites that accept contributions in your field. Each is written for a real reader, not for a spam page.
Directory submission backlinks
Listings in carefully selected general, industry and local directories. I skip link-farm directories that offer nothing to a real visitor.
Bookmarking backlinks
Submitting your key pages to reputable bookmarking and curation platforms, helping new content get discovered and adding variety to your links.

Relevance and editorial link types

These carry more topical and local relevance, and usually take more outreach effort.

Guest post links
Articles placed on relevant websites. See the dedicated Guest Posting service.
Local links
Mentions from sites tied to your area, such as local organisations and community sites. See Local Link Building Services.
Resource page links
Being added to useful lists and guides that already link to businesses like yours.
Broken link replacement
Offering a relevant replacement when a site links to a page that no longer exists.
Competitor-based opportunities
Links your competitors already earn that you could realistically earn too.
Business listings and citations
Accurate name, address and phone listings. See Local Citation services.

How each link is built

  1. 1

    Plan the mix

Choose link types and targets based on your site, competitors and goals.

  2. 2

    Research and shortlist

Find platforms and sites that fit, then reject the weak ones.

  3. 3

    Evaluate quality

Check relevance, real activity, outbound links and reputation.

  4. 4

    Create or request

Submit, publish or contact the site owner, with unique content each time.

  5. 5

    Verify and report

Confirm each link is live and correct, then record it in your report.

My quality standards

Lower-effort link types have a modest effect on their own. I use them to support, not replace, relevant editorial links, and I keep the profile natural.

  • No private blog networks or link farms
  • No automated posting or mass submissions
  • Varied, natural anchor text
  • Unique content on every submission
  • Only sites I would show you openly

Transparent reporting

Every month you receive a record of each link: where it is, what type it is, what it points to and when it went live. No rankings are promised, and results are reported honestly.

Frequently asked questions

Cannot find your answer? Ask directly and I will reply personally.

Ask a question
Which backlink types do you offer?

Foundational, profile, blog submission, directory submission and bookmarking backlinks, plus guest posts, local links, resource page links, broken link replacement and citations. The mix is agreed in your quotation.

Are profile and bookmarking links worth it?

Individually they carry modest weight, but they build a natural, varied link profile and support stronger editorial links. They work best as part of a balanced plan, not on their own.

Do you use software to post links?

No. Each link is created or requested by hand, with unique content.

How many links will I get each month?

It depends on your package and the link types chosen. The quotation states what will be attempted, and the report shows what was achieved.

How do payments work?

I work with manual invoicing rather than an online checkout. After you send an inquiry I prepare a custom quotation, then send an invoice or payment request. Payment is by Payoneer or international bank transfer (SWIFT). Work starts once payment is confirmed.

Ready to see what is holding your rankings back?

Tell me about your business and website. I will come back with a clear next step and a custom quotation.
